Privacy Policy

Search Cadence reads your Google Search Console performance data, analyzes it, and produces a weekly list of recommended SEO changes. It is a read-only tool. It cannot modify your website, your Search Console property, or anything else in your Google account.

When you sign in we request three things: your email address, your basic profile (name and picture), and read-only access to Search Console through the webmasters.readonly scope.

That scope lets us list the properties you have verified and read their search performance data: queries, pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position. We request no write scope of any kind.

• Your email address, name and profile picture, to identify your account.
• A Google refresh token, encrypted at rest, so the weekly analysis can run without you signing in again.
• The properties you choose to track.
• Aggregated Search Console metrics for those properties, and the recommendations generated from them.
• The public HTML title, meta description and heading of pages a recommendation refers to.

Data is stored in a Postgres database hosted by Neon in the United States.

To write the recommendations, we send the aggregated metrics and the public page text described above to Google’s Gemini API. We do not send your Google credentials, your refresh token, or your email address. If you enable the weekly email, we send the digest text and your email address to Resend, our email provider.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it to train any model. We do not share it with anyone else.

Removing a property deletes its stored metrics and recommendations. To delete your account entirely, email the address below and we will remove every record within 30 days. You can also revoke Search Cadence’s access at any time from your Google account permissions page, which immediately stops all future access.
